About Me

Lisa, a competitive figure skater from Haverhill, Massachusetts, dedicated her life from the age of six to twenty-one to the ice. She represented the USFSA as a Junior Level Figure Skater and participated in the US Junior Cultural Exchange Team. While she had always been drawn to the ice and aspired to become a nurse, after three years of nursing school, she recognized that her true calling lay in a different field.

Lisa discovered her passion for sharing and promoting an active lifestyle, which had always been important to her. This realization led her to pursue a career as a health and fitness professional, specializing in biomechanics. Her objective was to educate individuals on how to exercise more effectively, utilizing proper kinetic patterns, to enhance their overall well-being and potentially extend their lifespan.

In 2000, Lisa earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology with a Minor in Biology from St. Joseph’s College. Since then, she has been a personal trainer and fitness professional. During her sophomore year at St. Joseph’s, Lisa served as Senior Class Vice President and also took up field hockey despite having no prior experience. She embraced her athleticism and joined the team, assuming the right wing position. She quickly developed a passion for the sport.

In 2007, Lisa embarked on a journey to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson and Wales University. Recognizing the limitations of physical exercise without adequate nutrition, she sought to enhance the health and well-being of her clients from a holistic perspective. Lisa fervently advocates for a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle and encourages and educates others to adopt this approach.

In 2022, Lisa’s exceptional contributions to the health and fitness industry were acknowledged by Marquis Who’s Who.

In 2023, Lisa’s coaching expertise was sought after to join the coaching team of the Monomoy varsity field hockey program. Her coaching style played a pivotal role in guiding the team to two state championship finals in 2023 and 2024, as well as the semi-finals in 2025. Coaching young athletes is Lisa’s way of making a positive impact on the community.

Lisa’s extensive experience in the wellness industry has enabled her to collaborate with some of the most renowned professionals in the field. Over the past 26 years, she has managed gyms, led and managed training teams, consulted with aspiring gym owners, conducted ergonomic factory evaluations for Lifespan Medical, provided nutrition counseling through esteemed programs, and gained culinary experience. This diverse background has refined her knowledge and skills, ultimately leading her to establish her own practice. Chef and trainer is where Lisa’s 25 years of education and experience converge, creating a distinctive and impactful approach to wellness.
